Doctoral students win big at IMRDC 2021

A paper titled, ‘Systemic banking crises, financial market development, & firms’ leverage’, authored by Ankit Kariya, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) scholar of IIM Bangalore in the Finance & Accounting area, has won the Best Paper Award at the IMR Doctoral Conference (IMRDC) 2021, held online by IIMB from February 04 to 06, 2021. The IMRDC 2021 Best Critique Award was won by Sajad S Santhosh, also a PhD scholar at IIMB, for his critique of the presentation of the paper: ‘Women’s Empowerment and Intimate Partner Violence: Evidence from a Multi-dimensional Policy in India’ by Prashant Poddar of IIM Lucknow.
