This study uses bibliometric analysis techniques to map the literature landscape and visualize the key themes in the decade-old journey of IIMB Management Review (IMR). The researchers find that IMR’s scholarly impact has steadily increased with several articles receiving high citation counts. Apart from India, scholars from the US, the UK and Australia have contributed to IMR.

Although the journal is multidisciplinary, most of the contributions over the past decade relate to OB/HRM and Finance areas.

Quantitative and qualitative empirical research has received significant editorial attention; conceptual and systematic review articles could use similar focus.

The findings will help IMR’s editorial board map the journal’s academic impact  and thematic trajectory, and the academic community at large to understand how scholarly journals evolve temporally.
