NSRCEL-incubated start-ups showcase their offerings on Season 2 of ‘Shark Tank India’

In February, three start-ups incubated at NSRCEL from across different programs – LeafyAffair, PadCare Labs and Amrutam – showcased their offerings and solutions on Season 2 of ‘Shark Tank India’. 

Shark Tank India’s premise revolves around entrepreneurs making presentations to a panel of investors, popularly known as ‘Sharks’. The entrepreneurs pitch their respective ventures to these ‘Sharks’ who decide whether they would like to invest their time and resources in the said venture.

LeafyAffair: LeafyAffair, founded by Supriya Donthi, is a start-up of NSRCEL from the Emerging Consumer Brands Incubation Program that aims to bring together timeless botanical treasure and fashion through its range of nature-inspired jewellery.

PadCare Labs: Founded by Ajinkya Dhariya, PadCare Labs is on a mission to shape sustainable societies by enhancing menstrual hygiene standards in India with a top-of-the-line menstrual product recycling technology, which has so far installed more than 5500 bins, thereby saving landfill area. 

PadCare closed its deal at ₹1 cr for 4% equity with ‘Sharks’ Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh and Peyush Bansal.

Amrutam: Founded by Agnim Gupta and Stuti Gupta, Amrutam is aimed to build a global community to encourage natural wellness through ayurvedic and cruelty-free lifestyle. Amrutam is a start-up of NSRCEL that offers a range of health and personal care solutions derived from Vedic texts, that encourage natural, clean and ayurvedic lifestyle.
