Centre for Teaching & Learning conducts the five-day residential ‘Foundations of Management’ course from 17th to 21st April
The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at IIM Bangalore conducted the ‘Foundations of Management’ summer course, a five-day residential programme intended to help develop a foundational understanding of management. The sessions were delivered by IIMB faculty members and senior doctoral scholars from 17th to 21st April 2023. The course was attended by 48 undergraduate students from more than 35 colleges and institutes across India.
The programme was designed to benefit students in their final year of undergraduate degree course of study, in any discipline or area, which would go on to add to their skill sets in the pursuit of academic as well as professional goals.
Altogether seven IIMB faculty members and 16 senior IIMB doctoral candidates led sessions on diverse topics, covering core areas of managerial studies. The faculty also delivered keynote speeches related to their respective areas, while the doctoral scholars conducted follow-up sessions on topics related to these areas.
