EPGP students are first runners-up at Blitz – The Startup Challenge organized by IIM Calcutta

Soumyashanto Mandal, Surajkumar Senapati and Abhinav Goswami, all students of IIM Bangalore’s one-year fulltime MBA programme Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), have been placed as the first runners-up at Blitz – The Startup Challenge, organized by IIM Calcutta in their Annual Entrepreneurship Summit – Genesis.

The challenge had more than 250 participants and was open to all colleges as well as courses. It was a three-round contest involving two rounds of case studies and one simulation round. The problem statements were real-life scenarios faced by start-ups. It required providing a detailed cross-domain execution plan and implementation strategy for the start-ups.
