Centre for Capital Markets and Risk Management hosts webinars to mark Global Money Week

In a webinar on March 27th, hosted by the Centre for Capital Markets and Risk Management to mark Global Money Week, Dr. Hemant Manuj, Associate Professor in the Department of Finance & Accounting at S P Jain Institute of Management and Research, emphasized the importance of structured investing. “There are two dimensions of investments: return and risk. The best way to understand investing philosophy is ‘maximize the expected returns per unit of risk’,” he advised. Listing asset allocation, portfolio construction, portfolio monitoring and discipline as the four pillars of investing, he urged investors to pay attention to assessing risks. The webinar was a part of the Global Money Week 2021 in collaboration with SEBI and NSE-IPFT.
