Bhavani Karthikeyan

Bhavani Karthikeyan, leaving IIM Bangalore on resignation with effect from March 31, 2022, joined the institute on February 04, 2015, as Head Finance to oversee the finance and accounting function. During her seven years of service with the institute, she has been managing the finance and accounting activities, which included statutory financial compliance, FAC and Board related matters related to the same. During this period, some of her noteworthy contributions included fulfilment of statutory compliances which in turn included timely closure of accounts, clean audit reports, closure of various GST and IT related assessments covering completion of IT scrutiny assessments and receipt of refunds. She has also worked on completion of workflow documentation for the implementation of the new ERP, the new procurement manual, treasury and investment related policies of the institute.

Bhavani has over 24 years of experience of which she spent more than 11 years at IIMB. She has worked across various companies such as Citibank, Brickwork India Pvt Ltd, Entrepreneur in Sahaj Finance Solution and Hippocampus Learning Centre Pvt Ltd. Bangalore. Bhavani also worked as the Finance and Account Officer at IIMB between 2005 and 2009.
