Dr MS Shalique
Dr. Shalique M.S joined the Institute as Assistant Professor in the Production and Operations Management Area on 11th May, 2022. He holds a Ph.D. in Quantitative Methods and Operations Management from IIM Kozhikode and a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
His research explores how insights from economics and psychology can be applied to understand and influence behaviour of individuals or groups. His research has applications in several areas including sustainability in the lower-tiers of supply chains, online retail, healthcare, and other areas of consequential decision making. He holds a PhD in Quantitative Methods and Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. His work has been published in journals such as International Journal of Production Research. Prior to pursuing his PhD, he served as Operations Officer in Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.
