IIMBx to launch Certificate Program in Hospital Management for healthcare professionals in online mode

IIMB will offer a specialized program for healthcare professionals to equip them with managerial skills to enhance the efficiency of their healthcare operations.

The Certificate Program in Hospital Management will be offered in a blended format with a mix of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) from IIMB and live synchronous online sessions with IIMB faculty and industry experts. It is a unique opportunity for early-career employees in the healthcare sector such as doctors, nurses, administrators and managers to learn and apply the best management practices in a hospital set-up and make better decisions for better performance of their hospitals.

The program will launch on July 1, 2022. Courses in different management areas, including Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Strategy and Innovation, will be offered to equip the participants with all-round managerial ability. Given the busy schedule and hospital emergency, this program has been designed to take care of this need and allow participants to learn at their convenient time and place.

The program will be inaugurated by Dr. Devi Shetty, Founder-Chairman of the Narayana Group of Hospitals and Chairperson, Board of Governors of IIM Bangalore, IIMB Director Dr. Rishikesha T Krishnan and the program directors and faculty from IIMB.

Registrations for the Hospital Management Program will begin on May 30th, 2022.
