Bhagyalaxmi M

Bhagyalaxmi M has joined IIM Bangalore as Manager – Career Development Services (CDS) on June 27, 2022. She will be reporting to the Chairperson, CDS.

Bhagyalaxmi has completed postgraduation from Dr. D Y Patil Institute of Management Studies. She brings with her a rich combination of corporate academic experience from different organizations across the country. By being associated with Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc); Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies-Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering (NMIMS-MPSTME), Mumbai; MIT (Pune), and Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), she has built vast expertise in corporate relations, strategy management, branding, university relations, student connect and placements.

Her previous role was with IISc as Placement Officer. In her tenure of five years there, she has been accountable for centralized placements of all departments and programmes, placement processes, structure and execution, and was leading and managing the entire placement activities for UG/Master’s/PhD and Post-doc students. In her current role, her responsibilities include planning development activities for the CDS Office.
