A Management Programme for Entrepreneurs and Family Businesses group initiative, the session will be led by Ankur Mittal, COO & Co-founder, Inflection Point Ventures

The Management Programme for Entrepreneurs and Family Businesses (MPEFB) group of the IIMB Alumni Association (IIMBAA), in partnership with NSRCEL, the innovation and entrepreneurship hub of the institute, is launching the ‘Founders Friday’ program at IIM Bangalore. As part of the program launch, the ‘Equity Funding Masterclass’ will be held on August 5 (Friday), 2022, from 05.00 pm to 06.30 pm. The masterclass is aimed to support raising funds for businesses. The session will be held online and can accommodate 300 candidates.

The speaker for the session would be Ankur Mittal, COO & Co-founder, Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). He has made more than 80 start-up investments in the last five years with over 20 successful exits. His talk would cover issues like how start-ups can prepare themselves to raise funds, important areas to focus on while raising angel/seed funds, valuation methods, funding instruments, general funding processes, etc.

After the Masterclass, the IIMB entrepreneurs will have access to POC at IPV to send in their business pitches to raise funds through 7000-plus investors at IPV, and trial membership of IPV to become angel investors and invest in IPV-led innovative start-ups across sectors (minimum investment is INR 2.5L in any start-up).
