Janani Muthuswami

Janani Muthuswami joined IIM Bangalore as Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts on 26th September 2022.  

Janani Muthuswami completed her Bachelor’s in Commerce from BMS College and her Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). She is a qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). She has an exemplary academic record, having cleared Chartered Accountancy in the very first attempt with a rank of 44.

She has rich experience working in the Finance sector in companies such as the State Bank of Mysore and State Bank of India as Chief Manager – CA. 

Her previous role was as Finance Manager at FANUC India Private Limited. Few of her roles and responsibilities in the previous stint included ensuring Corporate Tax (Income Tax & GST) compliances and Secretarial compliances.
