NSRCEL hosted the first-ever ‘WSP Santhe’ on 22nd September

IIM Bangalore’s innovation and entrepreneurship Centre of Excellence – NSRCEL – hosted the first-ever ‘WSP Santhe’ on 22nd September 2022, an event which saw product display of the Women Start-up Program (WSP) ventures (of both WSP 3 incubates and WSP 4 pre-incubates) at the IIMB campus. The day was also the launch day for pre-incubation of participants of the Women Start-up Program 4.

The event included a conference at the IIMB auditorium in the afternoon, during which Prof. Suresh Bhagavatula of the Entrepreneurship area delivered the welcome address. Thereafter, the founders of some of the WSP ventures shared anecdotes from their entrepreneurial journeys. The event also featured a talk by the representative of the Program Partner Kotak. Prof. Venkatesh Panchapagesan, Chairperson, NSRCEL and faculty of the Finance & Accounting area, also addressed the audience.

The event included keynote speeches delivered by Sahar Mansoor, Founder of Bare Necessities and author Samhita Arni. Another talk was led by Jayanti Bhattacharya and Shalini Bhattacharya, Founders of India Hemp and Co. Anand Sri Ganesh, Chief Operating Officer, NSRCEL, delivered the vote of thanks. 

NSRCEL mentors, IIMB faculty, officers and students were also present at the event vibrant with noise, colour, product as well as food stalls, and more.
