On 16th February, Prof. Stefan Dercon, University of Oxford, from the Economics area, spoke on ‘Gambling on Development: Why Some Countries Win and Others Lose’. On 17th February, Prof. Kalaiyarasan A, Madras Institute of Development Studies, Chennai, from the Public Policy area, spoke on ‘Political Economy of Structural Transformation in India’. On 22nd February, Prof. Vikrant Vig, Kellogg School of Management, Finance area, spoke on Research Seminar and Interaction with PhD Students. The Office of Research and Publications hosted another webinar titled ‘To Err is Human: A Field Experiment in Nudging Doctors Away from Drug-to-Drug Interactions’, on 22nd February 2023, by Prof. Vivek Choudhary, NTU Singapore.
