Aesthetics and versatility mark Dizah designs

The start-up Dizah, preincubated at NSRCEL under the Women Start-up Programme (WSP), is focused on crafting versatile bags which fit easily into the busy, multifaceted lives of women of today. According to the Founder Dipti Zalpori, “Our products also encourage the buyers to stop using genuine leather products. We make sure the bags are made of non-animal leather, are classic in design and offer all-in-one functionality.”

Dipti Zalpori is an engineer and marketer by profession and fashion entrepreneur by passion. She has around 10 years of experience as a software engineer. She also has a Diploma in Fine Arts. She completed her Digital Marketing and Branding course from Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA) in 2020.

Dipti says that NSRCEL’s WSP is ideal for women who want to kick-start their own venture with just an idea. Talking about her key learnings from WSP, she says, “Starting from the MOOCs, the journey has been full of learning, implementation and execution. This course has helped me in analyzing, selecting and finalizing an idea to work on. The mentorship with industry experts and faculty helped bring more clarity into my business idea and its execution.”

She further says that the programme helped her in understanding diverse business concepts. “I learnt how to pivot my target audience and how to position my brand for better reach.”

Dipti points out that other than academics, the programme also gives its participants a great community platform where they not only network, share and learn from other established entrepreneurs, but they also get to meet many budding entrepreneurs like themselves. “This is a great platform where you meet and collaborate with people with similar mindsets. The NSRCEL Delhi offline meetups and Bangalore offline sessions have helped me significantly in networking.”
