Dr. Athira A

Dr. Athira A has joined IIM Bangalore with effect from April 10, 2023, as Assistant Professor in the Finance & Accounting area. She holds the Young Faculty Research Chair at IIMB.

Athira’s primary research interests include corporate tax management, principal-agent problems, audit quality, earnings management and changes in tax policies. Athira holds a PhD (FPM) in finance and accounting from IIM Kozhikode.
