The 8th event in the series titled, ‘Enhancing Citizen Access: The Imperative of Digital Platforms and Online Services for Safe, Efficient, and Seamless Government Services’, was held on 15 June, 2023. Prof. S. Sadagopan, the speaker, shared his experience of developing and using various e-Gov applications. He touched upon a wide range of citizen-Centric computer applications such as the Railway Reservation System, Income Tax filing system, Banking applications, Aadhar, Co-Win, Fastag, etc. He spoke about the genesis of the applications and the challenges in implementation as well as the roadmap for the future. This was a hybrid event with over 100 participants.
