Dr. Chetan Subramanian is RBI Chair Professor in Economics

Dr. Chetan Subramanian has been selected for the appointment as RBI Chair Professor in Economics at IIM Bangalore for a term of three years.

The RBI Chair Professor is expected to lead policy-oriented applied research to promote economic development and disseminate knowledge in areas of interest to the Reserve Bank of India that include, but not limited to, monetary and financial economics, banking, and real sector issues.
