First-time participant EPGP wins Ice Breakers Sports Tournament

Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), the one-year fulltime MBA offered by IIM Bangalore, has won the recently held Ice Breakers Sports Tournament organized by the Sports Council, IIMB. The EPGP team competed with eight sections of the first-year batch of the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP). EPGP student Akash Manglekar was awarded the best sportsperson of the tournament.

It was the first time that EPGP participated in this tournament. They were semi-finalists in four of the sporting events, bagging five gold medals (including one shared medal) and one silver medal. The EPGP team participated in 12 out of 17 sports and won the tournament even without the participation points of five sports.
