Inauguration of second edition of National e-Governance Programme for Senior Leaders of MEITY
The six-day programme, starting 18th September 2023, was delivered at IIMB, to 22 senior officers working on e-governance projects in Central and State governments. This is the second edition of the custom programme designed under the capacity-building initiative of the National e-Governance division of the ‘Digital India’ programme of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). It focused on developing competencies and aptitude of the officers to conceptualize and implement meaningful e-Governance projects and provided them with an exposure to contemporary issues in managing large e-governance projects, successful implementation of projects and challenges of implementation.
In addition to classroom sessions, the officers went on field visits and industry visits to understand the use of cutting-edge technology such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Web Solutions for better service delivery particularly for last mile users. Dr. Rahul De’, faculty in the IS area at IIMB, was the Programme Director.
