IIMB joins the nation’s ‘Khadi Mahotsav’ activities to help bolster local industries
As part of ‘Khadi Mahotsav’, which was celebrated across the country last month, to mark Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, IIMB organized a khadi ‘utsav; on 16th October. Stalls were put up in the Central Pergola area from 10 am to 5 pm, in a bid to promote khadi, handloom, handicrafts, village industries, One District One Product (ODOP) and other local products, in the spirit of ‘Vocal for Local’ and to bolster the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’ of the Government of India.
