Events at NSRCEL
In February, NSRCEL concluded the second Advanced Cohort of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Finance for Growth. The program has supported the journey of 50 ambitious entrepreneurs who are set to raise funds in the upcoming months. Through the cohort, seven speakers from across the spectrum were featured who equipped the founders with insights critical to help them scale up with financial confidence. The founders also got to tap into expert guidance through mentoring sessions with the pool of mentors.
NSRCEL conducted an in-person event on, ‘Decoding Mobility with Big Data and AI’. The event included fireside chats and thought-provoking discussions on cutting-edge technologies that are reshaping transportation systems, enhancing efficiency and driving innovation in the mobility landscape. Following insightful conversations, participants had an opportunity to connect and network, forging valuable relationships and exchanging ideas.
On February 8th and 9th February, Impact Orbit hosted an engaging bootcamp followed by the Demo Day. With a comprehensive lineup of sessions on leadership, networking principles, Government partnerships, theory of change and strategy for scale in the Indian market, the bootcamp provided invaluable insights into navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship to the start-ups.
On Demo Day, 19 ventures interacted with 51 investors across various sectors, sparking interest and forging connections. A unique three-panel setup showcased the diverse innovations, captivating the audience and igniting investment opportunities. With over 80 connection requests pouring in, the event proved to be a catalyst for change. Empowering social innovation, revolutionizing the circular economy and transforming rural landscapes – Impact Orbit is redefining entrepreneurship for a sustainable tomorrow.
Impact Orbit also marked a milestone, incubating 100-plus ventures since 2017. To mark this, NSRCEL celebrated these 100 ventures at an event, ‘Orbit of Change: 100 Ventures Transformed’. From generating employment for more than 12,000 individuals to impacting over 1.3 million lives, and deploying grants worth over INR 11 crore, these ventures have made remarkable progress. Eminent dignitaries joined the celebration alongside past cohort ventures from across India. The transformative impact these start-ups are poised to make can be an inspiration for many.
On 14th February, NSRCEL celebrated the achievements of 267 women entrepreneurs at the valedictory of Cohort 4, as part of the Women Start-up Program. From sessions on work-life integration to breaking barriers in entrepreneurship, innovative investments, and navigating the future of innovation, it was an empowering journey. The strategies for global expansion were also highlighted during a panel discussion at the event, which concluded with the launch of Cohort 5, marking a new chapter in women-led start-ups’ journey to success.
