PGPEM student Naveen Rathani recipient of ‘40 under 40 Data Scientists Award’ by Analytics India Magazine
Naveen Rathani, student of the Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM), the two-year MBA for working professionals of IIM Bangalore, has been named as one of the recipients of the prestigious ‘40 under 40 Data Scientists Awards 2024’ by Analytics India Magazine. The awards were announced on 2nd February 2024, at the annual MLDS Conference in Bangalore.
The 40 under 40 awards celebrate achievements of experts who are redefining the boundaries of Data. The winners are selected by an esteemed panel of jurors, from among those who have demonstrated exceptional expertise, innovative thinking and a commitment to drive meaningful change within their organizations as well as the broader industry.
As the Vice President and India Head, AI for Chief Operating Office at Wells Fargo, Naveen has made exceptional contributions in the sphere of Business Intelligence, Machine Learning and Advanced Statistical Methodologies, significantly enhancing business operations on a global platform.
Naveen’s dedication to his work reflects even beyond his corporate accomplishments. His avid research interests, which include deep reinforcement learning, weak supervision and optimization methods, have led to pending patents and a distinguished profile in the academic community. Moreover, his passion for knowledge dissemination is evident in the techno-focused articles he writes, aiming to elevate the discourse within the AI and Data Science landscape.
In addition to his professional achievements, Naveen is also an active member of the PGPEM community, holding the Academics post in the Student Affairs Council (SAC).
