Centre for Software and IT Management (CSITM) at IIM Bangalore and Internet Society of India Bengaluru Chapter (ISOC-B) Jointly Hosted inSIG 2024

The Centre for Software and IT Management, a Centre of Excellence at IIM Bangalore, cohosted the ninth edition of inSIG 2024, a three-day seminar as part of its initiative to encourage and enable policymakers to implement Digital Transformation initiatives. The seminar took place from October 1-3, 2024, in partnership with the Internet Society India Bengaluru Chapter (ISOC-B) and aimed to equip participants to actively engage in both national and global Internet governance processes.

The Youth Internet Governance Foundation Forum (YIGF) was held on September 30, 2024, as part of the Day 0 event. Students of IIM Bangalore were invited to apply for the YIGF fellowship, which offered the chance to join a select cohort of young minds in an expert-led mentorship program focused on Internet governance. Participants had the opportunity to engage in tech policy discussions and received a certificate upon successful completion of the program.
