Nurturing Future Leadership Program (NFLP)

The Centre for Teaching and Learning successfully hosted the third batch of participants of the Nurturing Future Leadership Program (NFLP) from December 9-13, 2024, at its Jigani campus. The NFLP is conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Government of India.  Experienced faculty members from various central and state-funded universities and private institutes attended the program. The sessions were focused on topics relevant to academic leadership, such as leadership styles, developing leadership capabilities such as decision-making, negotiation, engaging people, and fostering diversity and inclusivity, the role of educators in creating a sustainable society, institutional legal aspects, leadership in today’s digitized world, connecting and influencing people, and more.

The program also incorporated sessions on yoga, campus walks, role play, simulation games etc. In total, close to 90 faculty educators, from over 50 higher educational institutions across India, have benefitted from the three batches of NFL programs hosted by IIM Bangalore so far.
