PhD scholar Mareeswaran M wins BlackRock Research Award for investment efficiency thesis
Mareeswaran M, IIMB PhD scholar from the Finance & Accounting area, recently presented his thesis paper at the IFC conference, held at IIM Raipur from 19th-21th December, 2024.
During the conference, Mareeswaran received the esteemed BlackRock Applied Research Award for his thesis, ‘Passive Ownership and Investment Efficiency.’ The accolade is reserved for the top five job market papers globally, selected by a distinguished academic panel. It recognizes impactful research in financial markets, economics, investment management, and risk management.
