PhD Programme alumnus Dr. Rahul Rao awarded IERA Citation for ‘Essays on Misallocation’ thesis

An IIM Bangalore PhD Programme alumnus from the class of 2024—Dr. Rahul Rao of Ahmedabad University, has won India Exim Bank’s International Economic Research Annual Citation (IERA Citation) for his PhD thesis titled “Essays on Misallocation” for the year 2023. On 20 January, 2025, he was felicitated at an award function by Dr. V Anantha Nageswaran, Chief Economic Advisor of India. His PhD thesis was completed under the guidance of Economics area faculty- Dr. Chetan Subramanian and Dr. Kunal Dasgupta.
