IIMB conducts series of Specialized Training Programmes for SBI officers

IIMB completed conducting a series of programmes for DGM- and GM-level officers of SBI, including, Specialized Programme on International Banking and Global Business; Specialized Programme on Digital Banking and IT; Specialized Programme on Human Resources, and Specialized Programme on Leadership.

The programmes trained over 250 officers in six batches. Each of the programmes was delivered over six days in a single burst at the IIMB second campus at Jigani. The programmes were anchored by a team of Programme Directors, including, Dr. M Jayadev (Dean, Administration; Chairperson, Centre for Capital Markets & Risk Management, and faculty of Finance & Accounting); Dr. Chetan Subramanian (RBI Chair Professor in Economics); Dr. Debolina Dutta (faculty of Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management); Dr. Shankhadeep Banerjee (Chairperson, Centre for Software & IT Management and IT Facilitation Committee, and faculty of Information Systems); Dr. Sourav Mukherji (Dean, Alumni Relations & Development and faculty of Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management), and Dr. Ashok Thampy (faculty of Finance and Accounting).

There were exit tests at the end of each programme. The participants had valuable interaction with the academic teams and engaged in group activities. There were recreational activities as well, such as trekking, pottery and watching leadership and strategy oriented films.
