CTL hosts third edition of Foundations of Management programme

The Centre for Teaching and Learning hosted the third edition of the Foundations of Management (FoM) programme from April 21 to 25, 2025. A total of 60 final-year undergraduate students from institutions across Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal, were part of the programme.

In his welcome address, Dr. Sushanta Mishra, Chairperson, CTL, encouraged participants to take advantage of the multidisciplinary learning experience. Dean of Academic Programmes Dr. Mukta Kulkarni, and senior faculty members Dr. Moorthi Y L R, Dr. Rejie George, Dr. Ashok Thampy, and Dr. Srivardhini K. Jha led the keynote sessions, orienting participants to OB&HRM, Marketing, Strategy, Finance & Accounting, and Entrepreneurship areas, respectively.

Sessions were also delivered by twenty doctoral scholars at IIMB on topics such as managerial decision-making, econometrics, fundamental accounting principles, inventory management, strategic management & industry analysis, application of optimization methods, and value exchange, among others.

The programme concluded with an interactive session with Dr. Rishikesha Krishnan, Director, IIMB, who shared insights on the future of management education and the evolving demands of industry.
