IIMB launches Executive Development Programme for Comptroller and Auditor General of India officers
The 8th batch of Executive Development Programme, for Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) officers, was launched by IIMB on 23rd June 2025. Spanning 10 days, the programme aimed to develop conceptual clarity and contextual familiarity with a range of public policy and administrative issues as well as management practices that can improve effectiveness in the IAS workplace. It provided exposure to varied topics like understanding policy architecture and exploring aspects that have material impact, understanding the importance of data and its implication on different interest groups and privacy, public procurement, sustainable development, etc.
The two-week on-campus programme was led by Dr. M Jayadev, Dean, Administration, Chairperson, Centre for Capital Markets & Risk Management and faculty of Finance & Accounting, and Dr. Apurva Sanaria, faculty of Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management. The cohort comprised 17 officers from the CAG.
