IIMB offerings surpass 100 MOOCs as national coordinator of SWAYAM

IIM Bangalore has further strengthened its presence on the SWAYAM platform in the July 2025 semester, offering a diverse and expanded portfolio of online courses to learners across the country. This semester, IIMB is offering 128 courses, including those from its partnering institutes, and has already crossed 2,95,000 enrolments.

This growth reflects a significant leap from the January 2025 semester, when IIMB offered 93 courses. The steady rise in both the number of courses and enrolments highlights the increasing reach and impact of IIMB’s online education initiatives.

The courses span multiple domains, with a strong focus on finance, marketing and communication, alongside offerings in areas such as entrepreneurship, strategy, analytics, technology and leadership. Designed to be rigorous yet accessible, these courses cater to a wide range of learners – students, working professionals, entrepreneurs and lifelong learners – who seek to strengthen their skills and knowledge in management and related disciplines.

As one of the National Coordinators of SWAYAM, IIMB also collaborates with 26 partnering institutes that deliver their courses on the SWAYAM platform under IIMB’s coordination. This collaborative effort ensures that learners benefit from a broad spectrum of expertise and perspectives, further enriching the learning experience.
