IIMB Wins 2nd Prize for Academic Garden at 218th Fruit & Flower Exhibition
We are thrilled to announce that IIM Bangalore has been awarded the 2nd Prize in the Academic Garden category at the prestigious 218th Fruit & Flower Exhibition, organized by the Department of Horticulture, Government of Karnataka, in celebration of Independence Day 2025.
This honour recognizes the unwavering dedication and passion of our horticulture team, whose relentless efforts keep the IIMB campus green, inviting, and environmentally sustainable. The award was graciously accepted on behalf of the Institute by Mahesh Patil, Senior Manager of Horticulture & Housekeeping; Namitha Rani, Project Executive of Horticulture; and Mayanna, Consultant with the Horticulture & Housekeeping team.
The award ceremony took place on August 16, 2025, at the iconic Lalbagh Botanical Garden, where Sri Ramesh D. S., Director of Horticulture, Karnataka State Department of Horticulture, presented the prize.
