Commencement of Fintech programme

In an exciting collaboration between IIMBx DLF, and NSRCEL at IIM Bangalore and the Government of Karnataka, a FinTech Certificate Programme for Young Professionals was announced on 11 August 2025, as an open online initiative to nurture future-ready talent for India’s fast-evolving digital financial ecosystem.

With its official inauguration and learner orientation on 24 October 2025, the programme marks a significant stride in IIMBx’s goal in democratizing high-quality management education in FinTech.

The official release and inauguration was done in the virtual presence of Sitaraman Shankar, CEO – IIMBx DLF, Dr. Rishikesha T. Krishnan, Director IIMBx, Dr. Srivardhini K. Jha, Chairperson, NSRCEL, Dr. Vasanthi Srinivasan, Chairperson IIMBx, Prof. Sabarinathan G, Programme Director, and Archana C, Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS) – Govt of Karnataka.

Structured in two tiers – Foundation and Advanced, the nine-month programme blends academic rigour with industry relevance through faculty-led sessions, real-world case studies, and hands-on learning. Covering key areas such as payments, lending, insurance, wealth tech, strategy, and regulation, it equips participants to take on roles as FinTech innovators, strategists, and product leaders.
