NSRCEL launches Women Startup Program’s Scale Hub: Women in Art & Craft and Incubation-Batch 3
NSRCEL launched the Scale Hub: Women in Art & Craft and Incubation (Batch 3) under the Women Startup Program, a CSR Initiative by Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Altogether 143 women founders are now part of Incubation Batch 3, each ready to take their ventures from MVP to market-ready state, along with 24 founders who are now part of the Scale Hub, building sustainable craft businesses that foster social impact.
The launch featured conversations around growth, resilience and leadership. Founders explored what it means to lead with purpose and shape the future of entrepreneurship with insights from Dr. Srivardhini K Jha, Chairperson, NSRCEL and faculty of the Entrepreneurship area, IIM Bangalore. There was also an address by Reena Bhanti, Private Banker at Kotak Mahindra Bank, on how enabling women entrepreneurs fuels broader economic growth.
Sandhya Shekhar, Independent Director, Advisor – Digital & Business Strategy and recipient of IIMB’s Distinguished Alumni Award for 2025, shared why being a woman entrepreneur today is not just impactful – but powerful as well.
Malavika R. Harita, Founder & CEO, Brand Circle, and Member, IIMB Board of Governors, spoke about building resilience and adaptability in a fast-changing business world.
The day wrapped up with reflections on purpose and community, and a mindfulness session by Sheetal Jayaraj, reminding everyone that scaling up also means slowing down to reset.
