IIMB marks Kannada Rajyotsava with a tribute to Karnataka’s rich heritage

IIM Bangalore celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with enthusiasm and pride, paying rich tributes to Karnataka’s vibrant culture, crafts, cuisine, cinema, and, above all, its literature, art, and music. Dr. M. Jayadev, Dean (Administration), set the tone for the celebrations with a heartfelt homage to the State’s luminaries and legends. He urged the audience to learn its beautiful language, explore its rich literary heritage, and enjoy its soulful music. He also made special mention of Dr. M. S. Sriram, Professor of Public Policy at IIMB, who has been honoured, multiple times, by the Kannada Sahitya Parishat, the premier body for Kannada literature.
