The research study ‘From Emotion to Action: How Emotionally Resonant Triggers Shape Opportunity Individuation’ co-authored by IIM Bangalore’s doctoral programme student Charu Rastogi and Dr. Srivardhini K. Jha, Chairperson, NSRCEL and faculty in the Entrepreneurship area, has been awarded the Best Research Paper award at the DSSE Entrepreneurship Day Symposium held on 31st January 2026 at IIT Bombay’s Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship.

Forming a notable component of Charu’s doctoral dissertation, the study examines how emotionally resonant experiences influence the early stages of entrepreneurial action, including directing attention, shaping sensemaking and identity, and sustaining pre-venture action processes.
