Centre for Software & IT Management hosted webinar on gender and computer self-efficacy in India on 22 April

The Centre for Software and Information Technology Management (CSITM) at IIM Bangalore hosted a webinar under its ‘Top IS Publications from India’ series. The initiative was designed to recognize and showcase high-quality research in Information Systems published in leading management journals by scholars from Indian business schools, and to bring these contributions to a wider academic and practitioner audience.

In the session, Dr. Vimal Kumar M from the Management Information Systems area at IIM Calcutta presented his paper titled ‘Contextualizing the Relationship between Gender and Computer Self-Efficacy: An Empirical Study from India’. The webinar was held on 22^nd April 2026.
