CPP Conference on Public Policy & Management 2026 concluded after three days of engaging discussions, knowledge sharing and meaningful interactions

The XXI International Conference on Public Policy & Management, hosted by the Centre for Public Policy (CPP) from 2nd to 4th September 2026 at IIM Bangalore, featured key sessions showcasing some of the latest developments in policy research and practice. The theme for the 2026 CPP Conference was ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. The three-day conference saw policymakers, academicians and researchers evaluating India’s public programs, their successes and shortfalls, drawing out a roadmap for the future. During the talks, many of the experts highlighted the role institutions such as IIMB and its CPP can play to link research to social development, charting out a government agenda. A key takeaway from all the talks was that attaining Viksit Bharat status by 2047 cannot be a government agenda alone – the process needs to be owned by all stakeholders.
