Release of Health Communication Course on edX
IIMBx announces the launch of the program, ‘Health Communication’, on the edX platform. The course will go live on 12th October 2023. It will help participants learn about “infodemics” and managing an infodemic in a public health crisis for better health outcomes. It will familiarize learners with the challenges of communicating on health to different stakeholders. It will offer theoretical frameworks and practical techniques to enhance communication strategies. The course covers health literacy, message development, cultural competency, digital media, interpersonal communication, and ethical considerations in health communication. It is targeted at healthcare professionals, public health practitioners, communication specialists, health educators, and policymakers.
