Rooftop Solar Power Plant inaugurated at IIM Bangalore

A rooftop solar power plant, an initiative which is supported by National E-Governance Services Ltd (NeSL), was inaugurated on the IIM Bangalore campus, held on 19^th March 2024.

Dr. Sourav Mukherji, Dean, Alumni Relations & Development, IIMB, said the institute, which has a Sustainability Task Force and follows many green practices, aspires to meet most of its power requirement through solar power in the future. “Our collaboration with NeSL will help us spread the message of sustainable living, utilize renewable energy resources and progress in our mission of creating substantial social impact.”
