Management Development Programme for Mylan Pharmaceuticals Private Limited – A Viatris Company

IIM Bangalore’s Executive Education delivered a six-day Custom programme for Mylan Pharmaceuticals Private Limited. The programme was designed and led by Dr. G Shainesh, for 22 pax comprising Managers and Deputy Managers of the Project Management – Global Marketing Services, who have five to twelve years of work experience, primarily Pharma graduates as well as MBAs. The cohort comprises individual contributors who report to the Team Leads, who in turn report to Project Directors. Within this broad team, individual team leads/project managers cater to a cluster of countries or a country, depending on the size.

To develop the learning design, IIMB used a two-stage data collection and analysis process, that included interactions with senior management, conducting an online survey via a Google form, and so on.

The programme was divided into two modules which were designed to prepare the cohort to address future challenges and meet industry needs effectively.

Each module consisting of three days exposed participants to Marketing Analytics, Project Management, Design Thinking, Business Intelligence, Brand Communication, Performance Marketing, Leadership Skills, etc. It also provided an understanding of delivering intelligibly to the global product/brand owners.

Inclusion of Action Learning Projects (ALPs) assisted participants in connecting their learning to real-world business issues.

During the inauguration of the programme, Rajesh Singh Narayan, Head of Marketing Services (India COE), addressed the cohort on the importance of the programme, capacity building of participants and future challenges of the market.

Rishi Nagar, General Manager-Global Marketing, Neelesh Golcha, General Manager-CoE Marketing, Praneet Halder, General Manager-HR, congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the programme, during the valediction held on 24 July 2024.
