
Doing Business in India Programme for WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management
A one-day Custom international programme was delivered by IIMB’s EEP as part of a week-long immersion, for participants of the MBA programme of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management (Germany), towards providing insights on successfully doing business in India. The programme was delivered for two batches of about 40 participants each.
Dr. R Srinivasan (Chairperson, Center for Digital Public Goods and faculty of the Strategy area) introduced to the participants digital public infrastructure and digital public goods, both critical pillars of India’s economic transformation. Dr. Srivardhini K Jha (Chairperson, NSRCEL and faculty of the Entrepreneurship area) provided a deep dive into innovation and entrepreneurship in India, highlighting the dynamics of one of world’s fastest-growing economies. Dr. G Shainesh (Chairperson, Initiatives on Consumer Insights and faculty of the Marketing area) spoke on marketing for emerging markets, emphasizing the strategic adaptations required to succeed in highly dynamic environments. Dr. Vasanthi Srinivasan (Chairperson, Digital Learning and faculty of the Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management area) focused on the challenges of managing people across cultures, highlighting what it takes to build and lead diverse teams in a globalized world.
