Professor MS Narasimhan
Professor MS Narasimhan, Professor, Finance & Accounting Area, is superannuated from the services of IIM Bangalore on 30th June 2025 after a service of 26 years at the Institute.
At IIMB, Prof. Narasimhan taught courses in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, and Investments. He also designed and taught in several executive development programmes. Prof. Narasimhan has written two books, one on Financial Accounting and the other on Management Accounting. He is also actively involved in the open online courses of IIMB – the Massive Open Online Courses of edX – and has done courses which are accessed by thousands of students and managers across the globe.
Besides exemplary performance in teaching and research, Prof. Narasimhan’s contributions to institutional service have been outstanding. At IIMB , he held several senior administrative positions. Major one’s include, Dean-Administration, Chairperson PGP, Chairperson Executive Education and Area Chair. Currently he serves as Chairperson , ERP. In the past he has also served in various institute committees such as Office of International Affairs, Building committee, Internal Audit Committee and PF Investment committee , IMBx – Faculty Advisory Committee etc.
