NSRCEL meet on integrated, scalable and collaborative solutions facilitating last mile connectivity in urban mobility
NSRCEL hosted the ‘Climate Connect: Last-mile Connectivity’ meet, where experts from corporate, academic, policy and social investment institutions came together to address pressing challenges of last mile connectivity in urban mobility.
With leaders from Alstom, Shell, Tummoc, IIM Bangalore, Entoo, Janaagraha, Mapunity and Rang De present at the meet, the conversation focused on building integrated, scalable and collaborative solutions.
The discussion brought forward the need to approach urban mobility as a complex system where infrastructure, transport and land use are deeply connected and where start-ups often face hurdles like regulatory barriers and lack of ecosystem support.
The day also created space for one-on-one mentoring sessions, offering start-ups from the Sustainable Mobility Incubation Program, an initiative by Alstom in partnership with NSRCEL, the opportunity to engage directly with mentors and refine their solutions in real time. This conversation was a step towards shaping actionable pathways for sustainable and inclusive urban mobility.
