Centre for Software & IT Management hosted a panel discussion on AI and the Future of Work

The Centre for Software and Information Technology Management (CSITM) at IIMB, as part of its ongoing commitment to advancing discourse at the intersection of technology, education, and management, hosted a panel discussion titled ‘Educating for the Unknown: Can AI Prepare Us for Jobs Yet Unimagined?’ on 18 December 2025.

The session brought together distinguished experts, including Dr. Christopher Dede (Harvard Graduate School of Education), Dr. David Kotz (Imperial College London and Dartmouth College), Dr. Kentaro Toyama (University of Michigan and MIT), and Dr. René F. Kizilcec (Cornell University), who examined the role of artificial intelligence in shaping future education models and workforce readiness.

The panel discussion was moderated by Dr. Nupoor Ranade, Assistant Professor of Rhetoric and Technical Communication at Carnegie Mellon University.
