Mizuho India Japan Study Centre hosted webinar on Japan’s regenerative medicine revolution on 27 May

The Mizuho India Japan Study Centre (MIJSC) at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore hosted a webinar titled ‘Japan’s Regenerative Medicine Revolution: Business Models, Policy, and India’s Opportunity’ on 27 May 2026.

The webinar was delivered by Dr. Masayo Takahashi, President, Vision Care Inc.; Senior Adviser, Kobe City Eye Hospital; Visiting Professor & RARA Fellow, Ritsumeikan University; and Visiting Scientist, RIKEN Baton Zone Program. Internationally recognized as a pioneering physician-scientist in regenerative medicine, Dr. Takahashi is widely known for advancing the clinical application of stem cell-based therapies, particularly in ophthalmology and retinal disease treatment.
