Gadi

It is with profound sadness that IIMB shares the news of the passing of Prof. Gadi Ariav last week. A respected scholar who taught at Tel Aviv University and multiple institutions across the globe, Prof. Ariav was a deeply cherished friend and contributor to IIMB.

He supported the IIMB community in numerous ways: mentoring startups at NSRCEL, teaching the India–Israel technology course, leading executive education programs, and chairing industry sessions through the Israel Centre. He also generously hosted many of our faculty, students and entrepreneurs in Israel, immersing them in the country’s vibrant startup culture.

Prof. Ariav was an Indian at heart and truly loved his time at the Institute. He was an exceptionally kind individual with boundless energy, and his presence will be deeply missed by all of us.
