Launch of Cohort 2 of Incubating Incubators Initiative sees 3 new incubation centres being welcomed

NSRCEL and SBI Foundation’s Innovators for Bharat came together to launch Cohort 2 of the Incubating Incubators Initiative (iCube), strengthening incubation capacity in India’s Northeast, hilly regions, and Tier 2/3 cities. The launch took place in Delhi in August.

The new cohort welcomed three new incubation centres, namely, AIC MAGIC Business Incubator SME Accelerator, Incubation Centre IIT Patna (IC IITP) and Tripura Institution For Transformation.

The day featured a keynote from Dr. Anish John Paul M, Program Lead at Atal Innovation Mission Official, a fireside chat on building incubators across India, a mentorship panel, talks by Dr. Rijesh, PhD and Dr. Saishyam Narayanan of IIT Palakkad Technology IHub Foundation (IPTIF), a Cohort 1 incubator, on their journey through the iCube program, a reminder of the real, on-ground impact this initiative is building.

The day closed with MoU exchanges formalizing the next chapter of collaboration with the Cohort 2 partners.
