Alumni Service Award 2026

Two alumni of the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) have been selected for the Alumni Service Award (ASA) 2026, which recognizes graduates for their significant and enduring contributions to the Institute, the IIMB Alumni Association (IIMBAA), and the wider alumni community.

Instituted in 2023 as part of IIMB’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, the award honours alumni whose sustained service has strengthened the Institute’s alumni ecosystem.

The recipients for 2026 are:

• PGP 1987 Nityanand Shenoy, former Managing Director and President of PRS Permacel. Having served on its Executive Council for nearly 15 years, he transformed the Chapter into a vibrant network of around 1,000 alumni. He was also instrumental in building the early editions of IIMBue by securing sponsorships and mobilising alumni participation.
• PGP 1994 Ganesan Ramachandran, Managing Director, Accenture Global Capability Network. He has strengthened the IIMB-Accenture partnership by expanding career opportunities for students and contributing to student mentoring, leadership interactions and industry engagement. His contributions also extend to international exchange students and defence officers participating in management programmes at IIMB.
