Work and Non-work Life of R&D Professionals During COVID-19: A Cultural Perspective

The study explored how the R&D professionals adapt and manage the work and non-work life during Covid-19. Based on in-depth interviews of professionals in the Indian Space Research Organization, the researchers found the criticality of organizational culture in influencing extra-role behaviour within and outside the organizational boundary during the pandemic. The study extends the literature on organizational culture by attributing culture to the extra-role behaviours of R&D professionals.
